I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, which to me was always moving faster than the pace I wanted to move at. Drawing for me always brought peace and order to my mind, it was an escape. I started out using colored pencils, but decided to try acrylic paint in early 2003. My family moved to Washington during Thanksgiving of 2003, and I began trying to paint the mountains and waterfalls as well as the wildlife around me. Watching blobs of paint coalesce into an image still amazes me and I am very thankful that God gave me this ability.
My adult daughter paints as well, together we are member of MSAG and artEast. We have collaborated on two works and are planning on doing a series on the plight of America’s wild horses and burros. My works are currently included in the Inky Spokes Traveling Bicycle Show and at the Mt Si Art Supply store in North Bend. Showing at The Mid Block Gallery, 8050 Railroad Ave. Snoqualmie, WA 98065
